The Project has published "The Zombi: or the Mulatto of Murillo's Studio" (1862). This short story by an unknown author is one of the most frequently-reprinted works of antislavery fiction, originally dating from the mid-1830s. This publication is part of a larger undertaking to analyze the story and its publication history.
